A particularly memorable learning experience was our workshop at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where students were introduced to a beautiful range of Indian traditional and contemporary art practices.
The workshop brought together artistic expertise from different parts of India:
Kalamkari Art — guided by an expert instructor from Andhra Pradesh
Lippan Art — introduced by an expert instructor from Gujarat
Pipli Art — guided by an instructor from Delhi
Alpona Design & Wash Painting — conducted by Ditirekha Gogoi, Founder & Director of The Art & Culture RangSutra Foundation
Clay Work — as part of the creative exploration
10 students from The Art & Culture RangSutra Foundation participated in this enriching experience.
The workshop offered children an opportunity to discover how India’s diverse regions preserve their artistic traditions through unique materials, techniques, patterns, and cultural expressions.
